I think Gotham looks really cool and could really end up being great if they do it right.
I just wonder how it will work in the long run. Obviously it’s going to end with Bruce Wayne officially becoming Batman, they’ve even said that. Here Bruce Wayne is middle school aged so he’s still a long way off .IIRC he’s 25 in most of the Origin Stories and was 30 in Batman Begins. At the very least 12 years
Are they going to let this show drag out like Smallville? I don’t want that. I don’t think any show should go on for 12 years. Especially a show with a self-imposed time limit (looking at you HIMYM). Are they gonna skip forward in time? That would mean recasting most of the “kids”.
I guess we’ll just wait and see. I’m open-minded to what they’re going to do though.
