Wonder Woman Actress Lynda Carter Is President

From Wonder Woman to President of the United States. Lynda Carter has been tapped to play the leader of the free world opposite Melissa Benoist on the second season of superhero drama series Supergirl on the CW. It had long been rumored Carter had been eyed for the role and mentioned as an idea by the show’s EPs, and that’s now confirmed.

Carter joins other superhero alums to appear on the series. Lois and Clark star Dean Cain and Supergirl actress Helen Slater play Kara’s (Benoist) adoptive parents.
